Ice-cream makes everyone happy! So this is my favourite recipe and it is smooth as silk, and wonderful.
Basically, if you want ice-cream to be smooth, we need to not let it freeze quickly. Keep interrupting it and delay the freezing process so that the ice molecules are small. The smaller they are, the finer the ice-cream
My basic recipe is really simple and tasty. So enjoy!
2 cups of heavy cream
1 cup milk
3/4 cup of sugar (any kind you like)
1 tsp vanilla pods
A pinch of salt
- In a mixer (or over a hot water bath if you don't want uncooked eggs), mix the eggs and the heavy cream at low speed for about 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in the milk and sugar, salt and vanilla pods.
- Once the sugar is properly mixed, transfer to an ice-cream maker.
- That's it!
