Muffins are probably the easiest thing to bake ever, and they are so flexible. The key to making good muffins, believe it or not, is to spend as little time as possible on it. Firstly, never overmix it. Once the dry ingredients are wet, just pour them into muffin tins and bake them. When baking, crank up the oven and bake it quickly to get a crusty top.

2 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
1 cup milk
- Preheat oven at 200C.
- Mix the wet ingredients.
- Mix the dry ingredients.
- Combine both. Just as long as the dry ingredients are wet, it is done. Do not use a mixer, or over stir.
- Bake for 20 minutes on a high shelf.
